- Activation of your Universal Account Number (UAN).
- Your KYC details should be updated and verified (Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account).
- Your mobile number linked with Aadhaar is available for verification through OTP.
- Your employer has verified your KYC and bank details.
Stepwise Procedure For EPFO Online Claim Filing
Step 1: Go to the EPFO Member Portal

Step 2: Login with UAN
Enter UAN and password and captcha to log in, Ensure you have access to the mobile number for OTP verification.
Step 3: Visit Online Services
Click on the Online Services’ tab in the top menu and click on ‘Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C & 10D)’ in dropdown.
Step 4: Verify member detail
The KYC details will show before you on the screen; check if Aadhaar, PAN & bank details are properly listed. If so, click on ‘Proceed for Online Claim.’
Step 5: Claim Type Selection
From the claim form, select type of withdrawal which you want to apply for:
- Form 19: Full EPF withdrawal
- Form 10C: Pension withdrawal
- Form 31: Partial PF withdrawal
Select an appropriate reason from the dropdown (for example, medical, marriage, education, purchase of a home, etc.).
Step 6: Enter Bank Details and Upload Documents
Enter about last 4 digits of your bank account linked with EPFO and verify by OTP sent to your mobile number linked with Aadhaar; upload support documents (if any).
Step 7: Submit Claim
Submit the claim by pressing the ‘Submit’ tab. A reference number will be generated for tracking.
